10月27日（金）〜11月2日（木）の海外フェスに関するニュースをピックアップしてご紹介します。

「Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival」6年目も大盛況！日本から水カンが出演

10月28日（土）・29日（日）にアメリカ・ロサンゼルスにて開催された「Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival」。1日目にアナウンスされていたシークレットゲストとして出演したのはマック・デマルコでした。多くの人がこの日に誕生日を迎えるフランク・オーシャンだと予想していましたが、マック・デマルコの登場に観客は沸き上がったそうです。

日本からは水曜日のカンパネラが初の日本人アーティストとして出演しました。

また、タイラー・ザ・クリエイターの最新アルバムで共演した、18歳のニューカマーレックス・オレンジ・カウンティーはビザが間に合わずキャンセルするというハプニングもありました。

「Bestival」開催決定、2018年のテーマが発表

イギリスの野外フェス「Bestival」が2018年8月2日（木）〜5日（日）に開催されることが発表されました。2017年は9月上旬に開催されましたが1ヶ月時期を早めての開催となります。2018年はロンドンでサーカスが誕生してから250周年ということにちなんで、テーマは「サーカス」に決定。チケットは現地時間11月3日（金）10:00から先行販売が始まります。

「V Festival」来年より名称変更することに

イギリス・ウェストンパークとハイランズパークの2箇所で同時開催される、人気の老舗大型フェスティバル「Vフェスティバル」。
スポンサーであるヴァージン・グループとの22年に及ぶ契約が終了したため、来年からは異なる形態で開催することが明らかになりました。

「Vフェスティバル」のプロモーターであるメルヴィン・ベンによると、新しい名称は11月に発表されるとのこと。以前と同様、8月の週末に開催され、2日間から3日間に拡大する可能性もあるそうです。

ドイツで開催される「Rock am Ring」、イギリスで開催される「All POINTS EAST FESTIVAL」、アメリカで開催される「Lights All Night」と「Air + Style」、オーストラリアで開催される「Days Like This Festival」のラインナップが発表されました。
